Throwback Thursday: Celebs And Their Louis Vuitton Speedy Bags
The Louis Vuitton Speedy Bag is one of the most iconic and recognizable bags in the world. Unsurprisingly, it is also one of Louis Vuitton’s most popular and beloved styles. Originally launched in 1930 and based on another LV classic, the Keepall, the bag was intended to be used for daily carry. Since its creation, it has been just that for everyday handbag lovers, fashion folk and celebs alike.
A beloved choice for an incredible 90 years, the Speedy has been offered in countless iterations from limited edition collaborations to various fabrications, sizes and more. The Speedy has been reinvented time and time again, but arguably some of the most iconic and still highly sought-after variations are those created during the Marc Jacobs era. Jacobs’ collaborations with Stephen Sprouse and Takashi Murakami are still spotted on celebs to this day, and in the late 2007s and early 2010s celebs were just as much into the logo love then as they are now.
