The Best Of Louis Vuitton X Murakami Cherries Collection (with Prices!)

Yesterday, 5/22, the much-anticipated Chapter Three Louis Vuitton x Murakami launched. This time, we were delighted with Cherries. This sweet collection celebrates twenty years from its first iteration, with plenty of bags that nod to the original collection while offering modern updates.

Just as I did for the last drop, I headed to the Miami Design District to see if anything was available and how shoppers felt about the collection. I was set to arrive before the store opened, but a horrific accident on I-95 added about 40 minutes to my trip.

Upon arrival, there was no line outside the store, and when I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a wall of LV x TM Cerises.

Unlike the last drop, Cherry Blossom, which disappointed everyone in line, Cherries was an overwhelming success in terms of product. The Design District Louis Vuitton store had many bags, shoes, and accessories for the collection readily available for purchase.

There was a great sense of camaraderie, with everyone in the store trying on different items, chatting with other shoppers about what they were trying, and getting advice. Some other bag lovers and I helped one woman decide between the Sunset and the Neverfull Inside Out (she went with the Neverfull Inside Out).

The limited edition packaging was also available, and while that doesn’t seem like it could be enough to excite, it is.

The last drop left many feeling let down by the lack of full service, meaning the excitement of waiting in line and nabbing an item in-store, along with the proper specialized packaging.

This time, however, I saw Design District peppered with touches of white Louis Vuitton bags dotted with smiling cherries.

This collection is another nod to nostalgic collaborations, defining a very integral and momentous moment. One that immediately sends you back to this place, where our bag dreams were young and playful, with Louis Vuitton redefining what a collaboration could be.

A Fitting Finale to a Nostalgic Collaboration

With the third and final chapter closing out the momentous trifecta that reinvigorated the bag world at a time when it was needed, this Cersies collection brought whimsy and joy to our hands. And I’m not mad at it.
