Prada Just Dropped The Perfect Little Day To Night Carry

On the runway for Fall 2025, Miuccia Prada and Raf Simmons explored the idea of femininity in modern society and how it relates to the clothes we wear. In many ways, it was a continuation of Mrs. Prada’s dialogue between clothes and the people who wear them, one that is ever-evolving.

The collection was bag heavy, and with carryalls of every size parading down the runway, there was a lot to unpack!

I was lucky enough to attend a live screening of the show at Prada SoHo, meticulously noting the looks I would explore further once we received the show notes and press materials with look and runway images.

One bag that immediately caught my eye, shown with two different looks, had a distinct ball and chain detail hanging from it, and I was eager to get another look.

Now, with the new collection finally here, we’re taking a closer look at the new Petit Sac Noir, fresh from the Fall 2025 runway.

Appearing on the runway in classic Prada Re-Nylon, this little top-handle mini bag also comes in white and cherry nappa leather. I love the juxtaposition of the jewelry-like chain detail and more casual Re-Nylon leather. If ever there were a cool-girl carry, this would be it.

I’d pack my card case, phone, lip balm, and off I’d go—for day or night. A mini bag like this can be sneakily versatile, allowing for more casual wear or dressing up for a night out. I’d pair it with black capris, ballet flats, and a crispy white button-down for running around the city or with a kitten heel for drinks out.
